Latvia Visa Application Procedure

Dear customers,

You shall obtain a Shengen visa to enter the territory of the Republic of Latvia. PONY EXPRESS accepts applications for short-term Shengen C visas to Latvia on a non-urgent basis filed by citizens of the Russian Federation in Moscow express centres as well as in over 70 Russian cities.

Residents of St. Petersburg, Leningrad Region, Novgorod and its region, Kingisepp, Arkhangelsk and Murmansk regions and the Republic of Karelia can apply at the offices of PONY EXPRESS in St. Petersburg, Novgorod, Kingisepp, Murmansk, Arkhangelsk and Petrozavodsk for a Schengen short-term "C " category visa in the General Consulate of the Republic of Latvia in St. Petersburg.

From 1st January 2012, all applicants using PONY EXPRESS services for reception Latvian visa should have application form filled in electronically on the Embassy's web site. You may use PONY EXPRESS services to accomplish filling prosedures of electronic application form.

You may apply for a Latvia visa not leaving your location. Please note that any applicant shall be a citizen of the Russian Federation, provided that his or her visa application will be handled on a non-urgent basis.

Applicants living in Pskov or Pskov Region shall submit Latvia visa applications to the Chancery of the Consulate General in Pskov.

Visa application procedure provides for filing the documents as specified in the list approved by the Embassy of Latvia.

• The documents shall be submitted to any Moscow or regional office.
• You shall fill in the application-consent to make use of PONY EXPRESS services specifying the following: the applicant’s full name, contact phone number and address for the documents to be delivered at, date and sign it.
• The visa service manager will execute PONY EXPRESS invoice related to the document forwarding.
• Then, you shall pay the reciprocity fee and for PONY EXPRESS services at the desk. The reciprocity fee equal to 35 Euro per application shall be paid in RUB at the rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation as of the due date. The cost of PONY EXPRESS service equal to 25 Euro per passport in Moscow and 30 Euro per passport in any region of the Russian Federation shall be paid in RUB at the rate of the Central Bank of Russia as of the due date (inclusive of VAT 18%).
• The applicant’s package of documents will be delivered to the Embassy of Latvia for handling purposes.

  The term of handling of any visa application by the Embassy shall not exceed 10 days. Under certain circumstances the Embassy reserves the right to extend the foregoing term up to either 30 or 60 days.

Any document issued by the Embassy of Latvia in Moscow is delivered within the territory of the Russian Federation at the address specified by the applicant.
